Aaliyah Dana Haughton

On January 16, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York an BEAUTIFUL, ANGEL was born by the name of Aaliyah Dana Haughton. Aaliyah was African American descent with Native American heritage from her grandmother. At a very young age Aaliyah was performing at weddings, church choirs, and even charity events. At the age of 5, Aaliyah & her family packed up and moved to Detroit, Michigan. By the age of 10 Aaliyah had appeared on the television show, Star Search & performed in concert along Gladys Knight. At age 12, Aaliyah was signed to Jive Records, where she went on to meant her mentor R.Kelly not only was he her mentor but was also lead songwriter and producer on her FIRST solo album which was titled, "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number". The album was released in June 1994 and went on to sell 3 million copies in the United States & was certified double platinum. Along with any successful artist they had to take the bad with the good, the bad that came from this was that it was rumors going around that Aaliyah & R.Kelly were illegal married. Aaliyah ended her contract with Jive and signed with Atlantic Records. In 1996, Aaliyah released her second solo album which is titled, "One In A Million". The album went on to sell over 3.7 million albums in the United States & over 8 million albums worldwide. Aaliyah is someone that the music industry will NEVER FORGET, her legacy is to strong for something like that to even happen.

Below is a picture of rapper/singer Drake. Inside his earpiece is a picture of Aaliyah, Drake wears it everything he performs on stage in honor of Aaliyah. Drake feels like Aaliyah is with him in spirit and is making him make his next move which should be the BEST move.

In the early & mid 90's Aaliyah was a force to be wrecking with. She was one of the youngest, hottest, and most talent females r&b artist that was out, and with Timbaland & Missy Elliott on her team their was NO way that she could go wrong. Aaliyah not only made hit records but she made songs that are considered "CLASSICS" in everyone's eyes. If you haven't heard of Aaliyah I'm very positive that you've heard some of the songs that she is most remembered by such as, "One In A Million", "Rock The Boat", "Are You That Somebody", "Let Me Know", along with other hit singles that are out and available for anyone to hear. It's so sad that so many of the good people have to dies so young. Aaliyah passed away on August 25, 2001 in a horrible plane crash. When I found out about the death I was heartbroken and I even cried along with many other people around the world. Some people will NEVER understand why  people can cry or say they love someone that they never meant in their life, but it's not even about that, their music is touching people's life's on a daily basics and unless it hasn't touched you then you will never fully understand. Aaliyah you are MISSED on a daily basics by ALL of your family and fans.

Tupac Amaru Shakur

I Cry
  Sometimes when I'm alone
  I Cry,
Cause I am on my own.
The tears I cry are bitter and warm.
They flow with life but take no form
I Cry because my heart is torn.
I find it difficult to carry on.
If I had an ear to confide in,
I would cry among my treasured friend,
but who do you know that stops that long,
  to help another carry on.
The world moves fast and it would rather pass by.
Then to stop and see what makes one cry,
  so painful and sad.
  And sometimes...
  I Cry
and no one cares about why.
Tupac Shakur

No matter how old you are everybody knows this rapper, actor, and poet, Tupac Shakur. He was one of the biggest and GREATEST rapper that ever LIVED. The only rapper that sold over75 million albums worldwide, in the United States alone he sold over 37.5 millions albums.

June 16, 1971 Tupac was born on the eastern Harlem section of Manhattan, NY. His mother and father were active member of the Black Panther Party so on his birth certificate his mother wrote his name as "Lesane Parish Crooks". In 1986, Tupac and his family relocated to Maryland. Went to Baltimore School of the Arts where he studied acting, poetry, jazz, and ballet. Along with attending the school he meant now actor Jada Pinkett-Smith. Tupac and Jada became great friends, Tupac even wrote a poem that was title "JADA" which appears in his book titled, "The Rose That Grew From Concrete". In 1991 Tupac released his first solo album, "2Pacalypse Now" which didn't do so we as his other later albums. Later that year Tupac was awarded a $10 million civil suit against Oakland Police Department, where they beated him for jaywalking. In 1993, Tupac released, "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z." which went on to become Platinum. As everyone knows along with the GOOD comes the BAD. In 1993 , Tupac was charged with sexually assaulting a women in a hotel room, he was convicted of sexual abuse and was sentenced to 1 1/2 - 41/2 years in prison. In 1994, Tupac was shot 5 times, twice in the head, twice in groin, and one through arm and thigh. With that shooting happening, he blamed rapper Biggie and Diddy. In 1995, "Me Against the World" was released while Tupac was in prison, once released from prison Tupac found himself facing another law suit and maybe even prison time. It was a wrongful death suit for the death of a six year old boy, the case was settled with the family and Tupac paid them between $300,000-$500,000 for the second time. On February 13, 1996 Tupac released his fourth solo album, "All Eyez On Me", which went on to sell 9 million copies. On September 13, 1996 the hip-hop game lost one of the GREATEST rapper of all time. Tupac Shakur was shot in killed in his car, they say that his death had something to do with the east coast and west coast beef that was going on.

You know what makes me UNHAPPY, when brothas make babies and leave a young mother to be a pappy. And since we ALL came from a WOMEN, got our name from a WOMEN and our game from a WOMEN. I wonder why we take from our women, why we rape out women, do we hate our women? I think it's time to kill for our women, time to HEAL our WOMEN, be REAL to our women.

Tupac Shakur "Keep Ya Head Up"

Tupac was is my FAVORITE rapper, I know and learned so much about this man within the past 5 years. I enjoy the music that he made and even some of the songs that we wrote I could relate to in so many different ways. I believe that Tupac's death was not because of the east coast west coast beef. Tupac was klled because he didn't want to be about of the Illuminati anymore. The Illuminati is a known for having rappers, singers and many other celebrities sell their souls to keep their F.A.M.E. within all that some rappers maybe have to kill someone to be accepted or even have sex with another male. Tupac felt like this was NOT the path he wanted and this was not how he wanted to live his life. He believed in GOD and felt that what he doing wasn't right and he knew he would be punished for it. The album, "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" was proof that Tupac didn't want to be part of that type of thing anymore.
I RESPECT and LOVE Tupac for everything he did and all the music he made. If you really listen to his music then you will know and understand that he was leaving messages in his songs that he wanted people to catch onto.
